Would you like to get involved and support Kapitel 3?
Here are some ways you can become part of the Kapitel network:
1. Support fundraising
In order to pay the monthly rent, we urgently need donations. That's why we've set up a Fundraising Leave a small donation or tell all your friends and family about Kapitel 3 and send them the fundraising link. If you’re able to donate €10 or more via a monthly recurring payment, please contact us—we’d be thrilled and will send you the necessary bank details.
2. Become a volunteer:
We have a volunteer Messenger group where we share simple tasks that come up, such as cooking for an event, fixing something together, or covering a bar shift.
If you'd like to help out every now and then, just come talk to us at an event and we'll add you to the group.
3. Organize an event (or events):
Would you like to organize a karaoke night, a concert, a drag show, a reading, a workshop, a movie night, a film screening, a party, or something else?
Chapter 3 is a great place to give it a try!
Just send us an email with the following information:
– who you are
– what you'd like to organize
– whether once or multiple times
– on which dates or during which time periods
We'll get back to you shortly.
4. Join a working group (AK):
If you're interested in getting involved long-term and have some time to commit, you're more than welcome to join one of our working groups.
There are:
AK Interior Design – makes sure the space looks nice and is functional. For example, we’re currently planning to reorganize the storage area and build an accessible restroom.
AK Program – handles communication with event organizers and the assignment of responsibilities during events. And the working group ensures that the program aligns with our mission and standards.
AK Social Media – manages Instagram and the website, shoots funny Reels every now and then, and tries to keep everyone up to date on what’s going on in Kapitel 3.
AK Finance – keeps an eye on the finances, drives the fundraising efforts, and explores long-term funding options.
If you think you'd be a good fit for one of the working groups and would like to get involved, feel free to talk to us at an event.
5. Cleaning
No joke—a space like this requires a lot of ongoing care, and with all the planning and organizing, that often gets pushed to the back burner. If you have a little time left after an event, why not offer to help the organizers vacuum or do the dishes, or just clean the bathroom on your own? We’d be super grateful!
