We ware now the "Kapitel 3"!
Since we are a completely new team and the primary purpose of the space has changed (from a secondhand store to an event and cultural venue), we felt it was time for a new name. We are starting a new chapter, but the book remains the same.
We are using the same space, even though it is being redesigned, and without the work of the people who previously made the "Kapitel" in Würzburg known, we would not be where we are now. That is why the “Kapitel” part remains the same, yet much is changing and a new era is beginning.
Who's behind Kapitel 3?
Seit der Übergabe im Oktober 2025 sind wir ein komplett neues Team aus circa 10 queeren Personen. Wir sind als Verein organisiert und arbeiten alle ehrenamtlich an diesem Projekt. Die meisten von uns sind schon seit vielen Jahren in linken, aktivistischen Kontexten in Würzburg aktiv und auch befreundet.
There are various working groups, such as space design, finance, program items, and social media.
The AKs offer the opportunity to become part of the team. If you would like to participate in individual events or tasks, you can join the Signal group “Helfer*innen” (helpers).
