Learning space 4 queers and friends

Exam stress, graduation is just around the corner, presentation coming up?
Many queer people do not have a good place at home to study or do schoolwork in a quiet and safe environment. That is why, starting on February 26, Kapitel 3 will open its doors every Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. for queer and queer-friendly students to study independently, do homework, prepare presentations, etc.

Here you will find: tables, chairs, sofas, paper, pens, creative materials, tea, coffee, water, a quiet working atmosphere, contact persons for the room, and in some cases also for assistance with topic-related questions (but no guarantee).
We are trying to cook vegan food for you and are in the process of setting up the internet, but it won't be ready on the 26th.
We ask that you keep the room quiet and focused on work. If you want to chat or chill, please go outside.
The offer is explicitly not a daycare service, but is intended for independent work.
Feel free to come by and bring your friends! If you need more information or have any other requests, please send us a DM.

Open self-assertion training for queers and women

From now on, every last Tuesday of the month.
It starts at 6 p.m. and lasts until around 9 p.m.
No previous experience is necessary. Just wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. All bodies are welcome.

We strengthen our awareness and practice setting boundaries verbally and physically. We practice liberation and defense techniques. And we have a fun and enjoyable time together. We decide what we do each time based on the mood of the group :)

Come as you are. If you have any questions in advance, you can send us a message here on Insta.

The training is in German, but we can certainly find a solution with English translation. And it's for free, but we appreciate donations for the rent.

With our stomachs full thanks to the Küfa (kitchen for everyone) at 6 p.m., we will start at 7 p.m. with a screening of “Ohne Chefs” (Without Bosses), a documentary about collective work (52 min, description below). Afterwards, we want to talk to two Würzburg collectives: the cult pub Kult, which has been operating as a collective since '89, and the slightly younger educational collective fem*ergenz. Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Free admission, recommended donation €3–5 (goes to the filmmakers and collective networking)

About the movie:
Without bosses aims to inspire people to embrace a different, more collaborative way of doing business and to highlight examples that work. Work without a boss? “In this economic climate?!” – For many people, that sounds like pure utopia. But even in the heart of our market system, built on profit maximization and hierarchy, there is already another reality based on solidarity and ethical principles: collective enterprises that fight every day for a better “right in the wrong.”

Documentary film by @dropoutcinemafilmverleih D 2025, Director: Mario Burbach, FSK 0, 52 min., German original version, German subtitles for English parts
