We ware now the "Kapitel 3"!
Since we are a completely new team and the primary purpose of the space has changed (from a secondhand store to an event and cultural venue), we felt it was time for a new name. We are starting a new chapter, but the book remains the same.
We are using the same space, even though it is being redesigned, and without the work of the people who previously made the "Kapitel" in Würzburg known, we would not be where we are now. That is why the “Kapitel” part remains the same, yet much is changing and a new era is beginning.
Who's behind Kapitel 3?
Since the handover in October 2025, we are a completely new team of around 10 queer white people. We are organized as an association and all work on this project on a voluntary basis. Most of us have been active in left-wing, activist contexts in Würzburg for many years and we are also friends.
There are various working groups, such as space design, finance, program items, and social media.
The AKs offer the opportunity to become part of the team. If you would like to participate in individual events or tasks, you can join the Signal group “Helfer*innen” (helpers).
